Colson Kelly, or Machine Gun Kelly is best recognized for his unique style he uses to rap. Baker was born into an English Scottish German family in Houston, Texas U.S.A. in the 22nd of April in 1991. His parents, each missionaries took him to numerous trips throughout his childhood days. James Colson Baker was depressed and unemployed while Sonia Alane, his mother was divorced from the Baker family at barely 9 years old. Baker's father emigrated with Baker to Denver and they lived at the aunt of his father. Baker experienced bullying from children in his neighborhood because of the poverty he had. Baker began to listen to rap when he was in the sixth year. Colson Kelly (also known as Machine Gun Kelly) was born on the 22nd of April 1991 in Texas. He is known for fusing hip-hop styles that are contemporary and alternative to rock in his music compositions. Prior to making the move to Bad Boy Records Baker released four mixtapes from 2007 to 2010. The Cleveland rapper who delivered songs at the speed of a bullet speeding through the air experienced an explosive growth when 2011 was the year he moved from self-released mixtapes to established labels. From there his career skyrocketed with each of his albums ranking among the top 10.
